Investor Outreach

Raise the company’s profile in the capital markets

A global leading electronic components manufacturer has consistently delivered stable financial performance over the long term. However, its products are primarily used in personal computers and consumer electronics, which are not the main investment focus in the capital markets. QIC assisted the company in constructing a comprehensive equity story and arranged various investor activities, including QIC’s Taiwan CEO Week, brokers’ investment conferences, and non-deal roadshows, to raise the company’s profile in the capital markets.

Client Challenge

Connect with institutional investors, and create long-term shareholder value

The company possesses exceptional operational capabilities, consistently outperforming the industry regardless of economic conditions. However, its products are primarily used in personal computers and consumer electronics, which are not the main investment focus in the capital markets. It had been losing active foreign institutional investors, with FINI holding hovering at a decade-low level. In addition, it lacked foreign broker coverage and was relatively undervalued, with share price performance lagging behind its peers.

The QIC Advantage

Proprietary CRM system and networking to connect with global investors and sell-side analysts

QIC utilized its exclusive CRM system to assist the company in identifying target investors and sell-side analysts and arranging meetings with them. These meetings take various forms, including QIC’s Taiwan CEO Week, brokers’ investment forums in Taiwan/Asia/United States, and virtual/in-person non-deal roadshows. Before contacting investors and analysts, we worked closely with the company’s senior management to construct a comprehensive equity story, allowing the company to launch a new communication strategy for investors and analysts.

Results

Institutional investor holdings materially increased and share prices doubled

During the first six months of launching the new investor communication strategy, we arranged meetings for the company to meet with over 50 investors and analysts. Based on the feedback we collected, investors highly support the company's long-term growth strategy and recognize its outstanding long-term financial performance. Within these six months, the company’s institutional investor holdings materially increased and its share price doubled.
