Harry is an ESG Analyst at QIC, primarily responsible for corporate sustainability, ESG ratings, and capital market-related advisory projects. He focuses on how companies can effectively connect sustainability strategies, governance systems, and capital market expectations. By analyzing international assessment and disclosure frameworks such as S&P Global CSA, MSCI, CDP, Sustainalytics, and WDI, he helps companies identify gaps, enhance sustainability disclosures and governance mechanisms, and translate complex ESG requirements into concrete and actionable improvement plans.
Experience
Harry has cross-disciplinary experience in ESG research and automotive product planning. Prior to joining QIC, he served as a Product Planning Specialist at Hyundai Taiwan, where he was responsible for market research, competitor analysis, product positioning, pricing strategy, sales planning, and new model launch projects for Hyundai Custin, Palisade, and Santa Fe. He also collaborated with sales, marketing, distribution channels, and headquarters, accumulating practical experience in cross-functional project management and business strategy. Before that, Harry worked as an ESG Analyst at FTSE Russell for four years, primarily conducting ESG data research and assessments of Japanese and international listed companies. His work covered the analysis of corporate annual reports, sustainability reports, corporate governance information, and other public disclosures. He also served as the dedicated Japanese-language point of contact, assisting with Japan-related corporate issues and communications, while participating in cross-border team collaboration and research process optimization. Currently at QIC, he combines his ESG research experience from the ratings side with the project management capabilities developed through corporate product planning to assist companies with ESG assessments, sustainability disclosures, corporate governance, investor communications, and related capital market matters.
Education & Fun Facts
Harry graduated from the Department of History at National Taiwan University and holds an MBA from the School of International Corporate Strategy at Hitotsubashi University (Hitotsubashi ICS). During his studies, he participated in an exchange program at London Business School, where he studied global strategy, marketing, corporate governance, sustainability, and related topics. His international academic experience enables him to understand corporate decision-making and stakeholder needs from different cultural and business perspectives. Harry enjoys automobiles, pickleball, badminton, and watching baseball games. He is also highly interested in the history and cultures of different countries. In addition to Chinese and English, he is proficient in Japanese and holds a JLPT N1 certificate.
