Kuma is a research analyst at QIC, specializing in the consumer, renewable energy, and industrial & materials sectors. She conducts in-depth industry research and tracks publicly listed companies within these sectors to support clients and internal teams in making strategic decisions. In addition, she assists clients in preparing investor conferences and developing investor presentations, while supporting the team in delivering investor relations (IR) and financial analysis services. Kuma also focuses on analyzing competitive landscapes. By studying industry trends, key growth drivers, and monitoring market developments, she provides clients with insights to support mid- to long-term business strategy decisions.

Prior to joining QIC as an analyst, Kuma accumulated extensive internship experience across buy-side institutions, including foreign investment firms and local asset management companies. She previously served as a research intern at the U.S.-based hedge fund MMA Pan Asia Fund, where she focused on IC design, downstream semiconductor, and networking & communications industries. Her responsibilities included conducting company research, participating in investor meetings, and building financial models to provide portfolio managers with market insights and investment recommendations. In addition, she also worked as a summer research intern at Uni-President Asset Management, where she was primarily responsible for research and analysis of active ETFs and overseas corporate bonds.

Kuma holds a Master’s degree in Finance from National Chengchi University and a dual Bachelor’s degree in Finance and Business Administration from National Chung Cheng University. She has a Shiba Inu named Bagel and enjoys taking him out for walks in her free time. Outside of work, Kuma enjoys massages and exploring great food to relax and recharge. She also frequently travels abroad with friends and family and is passionate about capturing travel moments and everyday life through photography.
