Alex is a creative and passionate entrepreneur and CEO who founded QIC. At its core, QIC's ambition is to advise companies, founders, and global investors to maximize their shareholder values amidst the drastic transformation of businesses and capital markets in Asia. Before starting up QIC in 2012, he had successful careers in Asian equity, investment banking, and public policy advisory for 20 years with long-standing CEO roles at top-tier global and Asian investment banks, and board directors at many outstanding Asian financial institutions and technology companies.

He was the CEO at Yuanta Securities, the Country Manager, and the Managing Director for many prestigious global Investment banks' Taiwan equity operations, including Deutsche Bank, CSFB, and BZW. Since QIC's inception in 2012, the company has offered various critical capital market solutions to more than 200 Asian companies and global investors in the areas of Equity Capital Market, M&A, strategic investor communication, corporate sustainability, and management consultancy.

Alex holds a Master of Business Administration Degree (MBA) from the George Washington University School of Business majoring in International Business. As a descendant of Manchurian, Alex always believed that he possessed the horseman's DNA. He is an equestrian sport enthusiast and was a director at the Chinese Taipei Equestrian Association. He started the Taipei Pony Club to support Taiwan's young equestrian riders. Alex raised and rode horses ever since he could afford it. His dear horse, Dance D'Amour, a chestnut stallion dressage horse, has accompanied him for more than 15 years. Although Dance D'Amour has never won any medals, he was always the best horse at every single game.
