KJ brings extensive hands-on experience in biopharma, equity research, and investment banking to QIC, focusing on value creation in the healthcare industry. During his 11-year tenure at QIC, KJ facilitated more than 30 corporations in raising their profile as investment opportunities, allowing investors to evaluate and make informed decisions. Key accounts include PharmaEssentia, Oneness Biotech, Foresee Pharmaceuticals, Polaris Pharmaceuticals, Adimmune, Senhwa Biosciences, Coland Holdings, Chlitina, and CHC Group. KJ and his team help companies identify suitable investors. They introduce companies to those investors on global non-deal roadshows and at conferences. He and the team also assist in fundraising and mergers and acquisitions. When necessary and appropriate, they help place stock, improve liquidity, and translate clients' ESG efforts to improved ratings.

KJ joined Yuanta Securities in 2008 as a Management Trainee and transitioned to the Investment Banking Department in 2009. After successfully securing the IPOs of CHC Group and Savior Lifetec, KJ relocated to Hong Kong, working at Yuanta (HK) and later at Jefferies as a healthcare analyst, covering blue-chip pharmaceutical companies. Prior to entering the financial services industry, KJ served as a bioinformatician at Merck & Co. in Rahway New Jersey, where he assisted Merck scientists in discovering new druggable targets and biomarkers related to cardiovascular diseases, diabetes, and obesity. In his earlier tenure at the National Taiwan University Hospital, KJ spearheaded four long-term research projects involving hepatitis and hepatocellular carcinoma. He published four research papers in distinguished journals, including Gastroenterology and the Journal of Gastroenterology and Hepatology, amassing over 280 citations to date.

KJ holds a Master's Degree from the University of Pennsylvania majoring in Computational Biology and Bioinformatics, and a Bachelor's Degree from National Taiwan University majoring in Entomology. Beyond his financial expertise, KJ transforms into a weekend/holiday master chef, frequenting wet markets and fisherman's wharves for his culinary adventures.
