About
Patrick joined QIC in April 2025 with the responsibilities of advising companies on strategies to improve communication with the capital market and enhance shareholder value. With a diverse sector experience from his sell-side equity research background, Patrick engages companies ranging from fitness service operators, shopping outlet display fixture makers, factory equipment integrators, and tech component manufacturers. Patrick specializes in dissecting investment characteristics of different companies and communicating to investors effectively, and he aspires to apply his know-how and expertise to help more companies enhance their shareholder value.
Experience
Patrick has years of corporate planning experience at Fubon Financials before switching path to sell-side research, where he has tenure with Nomura, Bank of America Merrill Lynch, Citigroup, UBS, and most recently as head of research at CLSA. As a research analyst, Patrick covers sectors from financials, telecommunications, to technology hardware, and he’s also in charge of equity investment strategies, alongside people management responsibilities.
Education & Fun Facts
Patrick holds an MBA degree from the University of Virginia Darden School of Business and a BBA degree from National Taiwan University. When he’s not working, Patrick enjoys beer tasting with friends, playing 1st base at slow-pitch softball games, and fixing his vintage Jeep.
